FAQ
FAQ
The questions we are asked most. If yours is not here, please just ask.
General enquiries
- Q.How far do you cover?
- A.We are based in Hokkaido and take work nationwide. For distant sites, please discuss travel and accommodation terms with us.
- Q.Do you charge for a quote?
- A.Site surveys and quotes are free. If the quote does not satisfy you, you are welcome to decline with no obligation.
- Q.Can I order several services together?
- A.Yes — that is precisely why the five businesses sit in one company. Security with construction, construction with signage: the more you combine, the fewer contacts you have and the less anything stalls over who is responsible.
- Q.Can you handle urgent requests?
- A.Please call us. Depending on the request and the state of the site, we will tell you on the spot whether same-day service is possible.
- Q.Can individuals use your services?
- A.Yes. Alongside our lifestyle services (watch-over visits, housekeeping, home security checks), individuals can also commission leak repairs and close protection.
About security
- Q.What is the difference between Type 1, 2, and 4 security?
- A.These are categories under the Security Services Act. Type 1 protects the inside of a facility (stationed and patrol work at commercial buildings and offices). Type 2 orders the flow of people and vehicles (traffic control at sites and car parks, crowd control at events). Type 4 protects a person directly (close protection). We handle all three.
- Q.What is the minimum number of officers?
- A.We take enquiries from one officer upward. The number needed varies with the size of the site, the number of entrances, and the hours, so we propose after seeing the site.
- Q.Can I book for a short period, or even a single day?
- A.Yes. We take bookings for a single event or delivery day.
- Q.Are you a certified security business?
- A.Yes — Hokkaido Public Safety Commission certification No. 10001029.
About maintenance work
- Q.Another company repaired it before, but it is leaking again.
- A.In most cases the place it leaks and the place water gets in are different. Seal only the exit and the water moves to the next weak point. We identify the entry and the path before planning the work, so start by talking to us about that survey.
- Q.Can work be done in winter?
- A.It depends on the method. Some materials cannot be used once temperatures drop, so in Hokkaido the timing shapes the result. If you are in a hurry, we may propose splitting emergency sealing from the main work.
- Q.What is the Value Method?
- A.It is the method we use for waterproofing and sealing. Rather than covering the surface, it aims to stop the path the water travels — designed to curb recurrence in cold regions where freezing and thawing repeat.
- Q.Can the building stay in use during the work?
- A.In most cases, yes. We propose an approach that minimises disruption — dividing the work into zones, or shifting it to nights and closing days.
About investigation
- Q.Could the subject find out that I commissioned an investigation?
- A.We disclose the content and progress of an investigation to no one but the client. We also explain in advance how far the methods will go before proceeding.
- Q.Are you a registered detective business?
- A.Yes — Hokkaido Public Safety Commission registration No. 10250027. Registration is required by law. Engaging an unregistered operator risks producing information you cannot use, and can leave the client exposed to harm.
- Q.How far can you investigate?
- A.As far as the purpose requires, within the law. At the enquiry stage we ask what you want to establish, and tell you up front what is and is not possible.
